This game was especially very cozy and fun. On the Dutch track involved the cooperation between the handler and the dog. It did not matter if the dog had been a while not the sheep: as long as the dog and handler are still fun to work with the sheep everybody could join, provided that at least the dog 10 year.
When judging took into account the age & and condition of the dogs.
The 1st prize was a collectors item: a ‘Old Dog’s handlers stick’, made available by our own stick maker: Jan van Elburg and by Jan van Leeuwen proudly received.
It was a friendly match, where many oldie us impressed by the still hard work and enthusiasm. Even the slightly more sedate copies enjoyed clear of the field, the sheep and the diligence of the handlers. It was a pleasure to watch with hilarious and endearing moments.
