Marijke Otter

The story of Marijke Otter about the departure of our beloved training location: the farm.

This piece is not about me personally. I can take some proposals: Marijke, a rookie in the Zwolle club, in the possession of 2 Border Collies 10 and 7 years young ,Sascha and Zoe, and a young working kelpie Jarrah called.

My story is about the practice / do / help day and also left the farm where Dick 21 years has been.

Saturday 18 april 2009:

In the morning at a quarter to eight pulled Jan van Elburg me. We went to help, the REAL work practice so !
You could also reverse the herding may call. At a quarter to nine we arrived, Dick had coffee with him ; like every time we come and train ,very nice I think.
Dick divided the tasks so that everyone knew where he / she was in, that day. One group went manure drive and two groups were the sheep trimming and together, Jan and I removed the sheep mesh.

After coaching job Killie 1 January
It was a real practice day and it struck me that everyone is so passionately threw in his / her work. The atmosphere was optimal, Also I noticed that Dick are volunteers for years has. Then I got the idea that they are very happy to come and Dick a good host or friend and trainer.

I can already affirm itself. The atmosphere is good. Accessible and each one is in his / her value left. Something I find very important is, whether you're a sheepdog or other working dog you it does not matter as long as Dick sees that you also have fun and dignified with his sheep handling. If it is too fur grabs Dick ; very calm and patient he explains what his vision is the driving sheep and how the sheep and your dog can work. I also have another race: a working kelpie for Dick not strange since he already had a dog lesson. Saturday was also my day I found it so cozy with each other to help .

Dick deserves much help: hats off to Dick ,his wife Anneke and fixed faithful fellow workers ,Michelle also mentioned by name.

It was nice! On to the next 21? years !!
