Hello, I'm Killie Annen, ben 29 year and half of a twin. I still live at home with my parents Jan and Lies. At the moment I have three Border Collies, a dog named Noddy and two females named Maeve and Zeta.
My first encounter with Border Collies in August 1997 during NK herding the Hijkerveld. There I was in the carousel of the catering.
Later we befriended Tjitse Terpstra and we more and more matches to watch.
In the spring of 1999 we got home our first Border Collie. He got the name It's the Big Saren. His father is Sil and the mother is Megan and he was bred by Tjitse Terpstra.
My father was not a new dog, because in our house already had a dog. However, when we were at birthday party Tjitse, he sold. Tjitse had at that time a litter lying 14 days old. After the first Border soon followed half. We were now moving to Darp and close to our lives Jannie Small Rooseboom. In december 1999 was at Jannie Noddy (father Wisp, mother Fog) born. Since there in December many Christmas music is played and one of my favorite Christmas songs played by the band Slade was called Noddy quickly chosen. The singer of Slade hot because so.
In 2000 I started herding. Tonnie Borman me in the beginning very much helped. I had no clue of this herding. It's clear that it had and followed like his own head. Not a problem for someone with extensive experience, but yeah ...., I did not experience. Also entering contests seemed a bit and have Schoorl It's our first game and I walked. It went very well that, some mistakes. We were 11th in a fairly large field.
It's time I sold it because he and I do not really fit together. He went to northern France where he can work all day with sheep.
With Noddy I in June 2002 by Dick van Dijk in Zwolle come. I was in March when the game look in Zwolle and Dick had heard that people in the occasion, to train. A few months later anyway even called Dick. And, the group is already very large, but come and have a look again. So said, done so and so I ended up in Zwolle. A number of people who are trained, I had already met at competitions. My parents and I were therefore quite smoothly within the group included.
Noddy is not a natural talent, but it is good to send. He is very strong in the short work and separating sheep think he is one of the greatest games. Meanwhile I had another two Border Collies. Maeve, born in March 2002, (calves Sil, Mother Maiden) I bought Annelies van Nieukerken.
In the meantime I have had a dog. Her name was Nell and her I in September 2002 brought from Wales. In Wales I went to the World Cup herding been. Nell was a very sweet dog and very attached to me. But she was not everybody's boyfriend. Nell had unfortunately a very severe form of HD and of her I say goodbye to.
In my 2004 Maeve was 7 puppies from the combination with Eryri Taff (Geert Reinders. An experience such a litter of puppies. From this litter I kept a puppy, Zeta. Zeta has already been in the sheep and she had some interest. It is also seen how they evolved.
With Noddy I have nice results. So we are in our second contest third place and we have been together ever won a contest. With Maeve is always better when the sheep. She has a lot in terms of road behavior of It's. She is very active and has a lot of insight. However, it is often much too eager and also like to sheep flossing (bite).
With my dogs, I enjoy the herding at BCCZ and that's the most important.
